Photo Story MCW

Its the start of Multicultural Week here at Mission San Jose High, and the administration parking lot has been cleared in preparation for the countless food stands that will occupy this space during lunch.
Business is fast for the Chinese Chess Club, as they hand out their wares to a customer.  Their famous bento box usually sells out in 10 minutes.
The Cycling Club advertises their Snapple to potential buyers.  The noontime sun is hot, and many students buy the Snapples to fight against the heat.
20 minutes into lunchtime, and the line for tickets is still very long. In 2015, Leadership 2 made the decision to get rid of all monetary transactions during the buying of multicultural week goods to crack down on embezzlement of profits by clubs.
The venue of the Multicultural Week food stands is as busy as ever.  Students walk around buying food as DJ Harrison Chu takes their song requests and blasts them out loud, creating a festive atmosphere.
40 minutes into the lunch period, and most clubs have already sold out.  The volunteers running the booths then go out to buy their own lunches, and take a break for the rest of the period.

MSJMCW Story

"Get your snapple here! Only 2 tickets!"
The resounding cries of desperate vendors pierced through the school as they tried to break even on their shabby and overpriced consumables.  Seas of students swarmed like mindless herds of cows, moving from stall to stall, only purchasing the most greasy or the most sugary of foods.
Multicultural week.
A week where American fast food could be passed off as international fare to suck out all the money from the ignorant students of this establishment of higher education.  The veteran students had all gone outside of campus for a cheaper and higher quality meal.
As the ever-present Californian drought bore down on this event, the new hit single by the up and rising rapper Kush Patel, "My Name is Kush", featuring the renowned producer and rapper Dareal $hane pulsed through the atmosphere, instigating the herd of consumers into a heated rave party mood that even rivaled the recent Ultra Miami concert.
Suddenly, there was a huge commotion that interrupted the vibe of the students,  A scuffle had broken out in the line for purchasing tickets, the much coveted form of false currency used to purchase victuals at the Multicultural Week event.  A small mob of freshmen, believing that they had superiority in numbers, had cockily cut in line in front of a burly upperclassman,  The scene exploded more rapidly than a A6m3 Zero struck in the fuselage by a 20 mm high explosive fragmentation round as the upperclassman went Hulk Hogan on the freshmen.  Luckily, the Leadership 2 team quickly and swiftly broke up the fight, demonstrating the efficiency and effectiveness of our school's leading body.  Good on you, Leadership 2.
Multicultural week,
A week of feasting, partying, and an increase of work and tests from the Biology department of MSJHS.

Quiz: Shutter Speed and Everything After

Partner: Simar Chabra

Lens Picture

1. The shutter speed is fast since the trucks on the right are moving in real life, but in the photo they appear stationary and frozen.  This frozen effect indicates a fast shutter speed.

2. My rule of composition indicated in this photo is leading lines.  The lines in the road and the trucks are all parallel and help to focus the viewers attention to the focal point which is the cabin of the overrturned truck.

3. My element of art indicated in this photo is form.  The only three objects in this photo, which are the trucksl are all rectangular prisms.

4. The principle of design indicated in this photo is movement.  The viewer's attention moves from the guard rail to the moving trucks, to the cabin of the overturned truck.

5.
